Is Individual Health Insurance Right For You?

Anyone can apply for an Individual / Family Policy, but you will typically only get accepted if you are very healthy.

Most individual policies don’t have much or any maternity coverage

Business Policies Have Power In Numbers

Business / Group policies are paid for by your business  and can have tax advantages. If you have 2-50 employees you can typically get any of the offered Group policies .

Health conditions are generally not a problem.

If you are a self employed - aka a "Group of One", then you can still get a Group policy but you’ll have to meet more rules and may be limited to certain “Standard or Basic Policies”.

Health conditions will generally not stop you from getting a policy if you meet various other requirements.

Most Business policies cover maternity and preventative care.
